New years eve was the highlight of our kids Christmas vacation!
Its always a big deal to them to make it till the ball drops in New York:)
The kids went back to school today and violet and I felt a little lonely today without them..:(
Those first few days they were back was TOUGH. All their energy and the MESSES that i would be cleaning up after all day long. I wasn't expecting to feel so worn out by them being home all day. And then the guilt came of not truly enjoying them just about put me into worst mood too..i had to let go. I had to pray. And when i was finally able to be present and give myself this time to just enjoy them being home. I DiD:)
Our vacation went by so fast in no time at all i was dressing them in their cute little uniforms and pushing them out the door. We did enjoy our time fore sure!
Here's a few of our memories captured in our Tuesday Photo dump:
|Violet was a party animal she stayed up till 1am!!|

|She even wore her party hat to bring in the New Year:)|
P.S. I am going to squeeze in a quick book review in here..
If you have not read "The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson YOU SHOULD:) If you like young adult fantasy, mystery fiction that is, you will love this book. Elisa is the unlikely heroin who just pulls right into her story. From the beginning you really feel for her. A very relatable story of a young girl who struggles with her identity and the role God wants her to play. Filled with be betrayal, forbidden Romance, and the faith to move mountains! This book kept me up late these last few nights and it was so worth it:)
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!!!
The verse for today:: "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life."-Proverbs13:12
