The boys. My beginning.

How to begin to express my heart on how
my boys have turned the big 11!!

They were in fact the very beginning of many things for me. Motherhood for starters.
Learning to be more selfless. Sleep went out the door so did spontaneous trips to the store:)
At 19 years old I became a Mom to the most beautiful twin boys and you both have forever
changed me.

Elijah our "Old soul" conversations about life and things that you find interesting fills my heart with joy! You have changed so much in the last year its so sweet to see how you and violet have bonded. Its
like she captured your heart and brought you down to her level to be a little kid again.
Never a dull conversation with you for sure!! I can always count on you to be looking for me
"just so we can talk" and i really do love it!

Jonah our "TeddyBear" love and sweetness radiates of you like no other kid i know!
You are so insightful to others feelings. A wise and sweet young many you are.
Always helping and loving on your family:)

My prayer and hope is that I will always be a good steward of the blessing that
our Elijah & Jonah are to us.

Happy Birthday my little MEN! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.

Today called for dancing in my pj's for exercise the weather looked to cold and daunting for anything else. Lack of sleep (baby teething and little girl nightmares) has this momma walking around dead tired
and wishing she'd take up coffee!

So Today taking it slow has a whole new meaning because even if i had ambitions earlier of a list being conquered i have relinquished any rights to it..My hands eld high praying "lord help me through this season of being a momma, where my every moment and decisions really surrounds how will this work with the schedules and so on. Don't get me wrong I LOVE THIS season so much more then i ever did earlier on in my motherhood pioneer days when i had twin baby boys. I'm a little bit more seasoned in knowing "this to shall pass" and the sleepless night will come to an end. And now.. now i have twin boys who will be eleven in a few weeks and that just blows my mind. So TODAY i choose joy because i really believe its a choice. I believe we don't have to pretend the sun is always shinning and every day is one happy parade. No but we can choose Joy through this season whatever season we are in and know that really this day we have is precious. Our life is a gift and today I be rocking out to some Norah jones, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars and whole other awesomeness on Pandora because thats what I do when i need to feel alive. I dance i make look crazy doing it but i laugh and have a whole lot of fun shaking it:)

Pintrest is full of some funnies&encouragement about have a laugh on me! And dance:)

Hello world I'm Awesome!

The other night i had a conversation with the hubby about a little pig..Yep you heard me.
We have a little pig doll that belongs to our girls
that says the cutest things when you press his little nose.
And the one special phrase that got this conversation going went like this
"hi, my name is spike and I'm an All star!"
Its so darling and cute really. Which got us thinking. We teach kids(ours) from the time there little to love themselves to embrace how unique and wonderful they are. We tell them they are the best that they can excel at what ever they put their mind too.

Then along the way i know we grow up and the world around them can start to chip away at their confidence and armor of greatness. I wonder as parents if we miss these signs of insecurities that a seed starts within them and they begin to wonder if they really are great at all. Something i daily have to pray over my kids (guard their heart Lord)
Even as adults all kinds of messages come at us that can chip away at our worth
IF WE LET IT! But not to go all Tony Robbins, Zig Ziegler and Jim Rohn on yah..
but wait yes i mean too!!!
Its in there!!
You are the only YOU! You are lovely and wonderfully uniquely made. The imprint you make in the world around you is yours only to make.
Wake up this week and go brush your teeth, wash your face and then look in the mirror and repeat after me "Hi I'm ______ and I'm an ALL STAR! I'm a wonderful creation of God and today is a new day a fresh start to love my life and live it GREATLY".

I dare you to embrace your greatness!
Hey I'm daring myself even to thank god for all his blessings everyday and repeating affirmations of truths is a great way to start my day.

Do you find it hard to love yourself just as you are? Can you see your greatness?

Happy Wednesday and many blessings to you!

**Summer dress Transition into Fall*

Saying goodbye to your summer dresses doesn't have to be so hard because you can still wear them
for awhile longer!

This is where a great pair of leggings, tights or skinny jeans come to your rescue on those cool
fall days. I went with my favorite skinny jeans to wear with this pretty summer dress.

You can dress this down and wear some pretty flats

or go with some fun boots
Another thing when you have a dress it definitely slims you down when you wear a belt a little above the belly button and it just cinches the waist. At least for me it gives me the feeling of being pulled in..put together. I stand up straighter even...:)

Dress: Rue 21 $10
Jeans second hand store:)
Boots:Target $15 sale
Necklace:$3 sale Rue 21
Hat:Target $12 sale

Have a lovely Tuesday friends and be blessed!

"The only real elegance is in the mind; if you’ve got that, the rest really comes from it."
— Diana Vreeland

"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years."

Change is good. Celebrate it

Weekend Snapshots looked something like this..

In the blink of an eye our kids grow up and so many things
 can change..

but change is good right.?:)

I've learned(Em still learning) how to embrace change

A beautiful TRUTH

Learning that any fear or anxiety i have about the coming changes in our lives has no place in my thoughts and heart.

I have only to come back to Gods truths and promises for me and my family.

Meditating on these things, "whatever is true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, what is pure, what things are lovely, whatever things are of good to report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, in which you have both learned, received, and heard and seen me do: and the God of peace shall be with YOU!" -Phill.4:8,9

Finding joy in every moment of our life/journey.

Are you finding joy in your season?
Can you find or think of one thing you can do today that will bring you or someone you know joy? :))

Happy Monday TUESDAY friends & God bless
